We have just published a study of sustainable heavy metal removal from copper mining effluents in Chile by use of bark chips, a sustainable by-product of the local forestry industry.

New Research Grant: MBase

The Molecular Basis of Advanced Nuclear Fuel Separations (MBase)

Our group is part of this newly EPSRC-funded consortium. Project partners are in the School of Chemistry, the University of Lancaster, Imperial College London, the University of Reading, Idaho National Labs (USA), the UK National Nuclear Laboratory and Serco Assurance.
